Going The Match

Why do you go?

Is it because you want to be entertained? Does the football style matter? Does the result even matter? Or do you go because it gets you away from your missus for a few hours and lets you release some anger by abusing anyone and everyone around you?

For me it's the whole match day experience, starting off with meeting your mates in the pub, having a few bevvys and catching up with them. The football is an added bonus, especially if we win and even more so if we manage to play some decent footy in the mean time. Not sure how bad we would have to be for me to not want to go the game anymore as I would miss the social side of it too much. Plus a full weekend in the house with the wife is an absolute killer!
My wife sits next to me

Its the whole experience, from the minute I wake up on match day I'm in a great mood, the wife loves it, kids never get moaned at.
Sky sports in the morning, then meet my bro, a jar on County Road, Game, and loads of vodka after it.
Even better if I have a winner on the nags or a footy bet.

Love it when you get a bet up, I like the late Saturday games when we win and you go out after it cos you're buzzing. Usually ends up being a great night due to it being unplanned.

5 of us are going to West Brom on Boxing Day and we're all out in town when we get back, loads of footy and horse racing to get into, can't wait!

Enjoy mate, yep the best nights are usually the unplanned ones.
