Why do you go?

Is it because you want to be entertained? Does the football style matter? Does the result even matter? Or do you go because it gets you away from your missus for a few hours and lets you release some anger by abusing anyone and everyone around you?

For me it's the whole match day experience, starting off with meeting your mates in the pub, having a few bevvys and catching up with them. The football is an added bonus, especially if we win and even more so if we manage to play some decent footy in the mean time. Not sure how bad we would have to be for me to not want to go the game anymore as I would miss the social side of it too much. Plus a full weekend in the house with the wife is an absolute killer!

100%the social side either a day in Kirkcaldy watching the Raith same pub for last 40 years with much the same friends ( few no longer with us) or a weekend in Liverpool rose and crown or karaoke at coopers quick beer in the albanay for obvious reasons

Your wife is made up when you go the game as she is getting serviced by one of your neighbours.

I would not go the game and catch them out.

I tried this a few games ago, wasn't the best plan to be honest. He ended up making me join in (not in a good way) and we won, so I missed a decent game as well as not being able to walk properly in work the following week.
