I am looking to go to the home game vs Spurs in December and its been 10 years since I have been back home...
I am going to purchase a Everton membership to get the early access for tickets as i am going to be looking for four tickets together ....
Does anybody know a rough costing for tickets? I know each section will be different and that leads into my next question where to sit?
There will be my Australian girlfriend who has grown up in Aussie sports, in particular at the MCG which can hold 100,000 for the AFL grand final and Suncorp which holds 52,000 and has been in the ‘den’ - a singing section kinda lame in comparison to the prem, plus a large majority of the crowd aren’t emotionally invested in the game so it has a superficial feel to it, and i took her to the away end to support our Timmy playing for Melbourne but unfortunately there was only 70 of us and they kicked about 15 out because singing was considered causing a disturbance.... she is travelling the furthest and outside of my desire to see my Everton she is the one i want to have the best experience.... i was thinking maybe park end near the away fans or lower bullens for the best view and being the other side of the away fans..... not sure what the energy is like in the bullens....
Dont mean to set off a PE vs Gladys St debate, i have seen @chicoazul in many in the past lol but where is the energy levels highest between the two? Also where are the restricted view seats?
My arl fella will be coming, he’s right he grew up in the 60’s to the late 80’s following Everton everywhere they went, there will be nothing he hasnt seen.... and then maybe my step brother who has cerebral palsy, now he is all good just don’t want him under seige if [Poor language removed] kicks off i don’t know how travelling spuds behave or even the blues in the park end for that matter... will it be too rough for him?
As for pre match bevvies.... The Winslow? Is there a pub nearby that will have a good turnout and plenty of energy and singing? I want the missus to experience the difference in culture in regards to footy fans over here in Australia and back there.... plus i can’t imagine there will be much to sing about inside goodison playing Spurs lol so need to Capitilize...
Thanks for your help
