Amazing Just dredged up a long dormant and utterly racist part of my childhood

If I remember right it was a lot of head shots and the words "die infidel" on every other page.

I also remember whatever they cost, it was a currency I don't even recognize anymore.

I used to get 4 comics every week. Beano and Dandy, Warlord, and Battle Action. The Commando ones were a bit expensive for just one story, but if I could pick them up on one of the second hand book stalls on the market I would.
Also used to get the annuals at Christmas every year. I took about 30 of them to a second hand shop when I was 16 and got 5p each for them. It was enough to buy me some smokes.
I was in Barter Books(awesome second hand book shop) in Alnwick a few years ago and they had some of the same annuals and they were on sale for up to £100 a pop.

How can you not like somewhere that lets you read a book whilst sitting in a leather armchair next to an open fire. Fantastic place to visit.
