No idea. Just know that religion is a pretty personal thing. Whilst I'm an atheist myself, it seems a bit off to point out something like this and say "ha, where was your god now..."
 
WOW lightning hits a random object on the ground and this proves that God doesn't exist??

Really get a grip, all this proves is that lightning is a random atmospheric effect.
 

I am a man of strong faith and tolerate all faiths and respect those who have none. I honestly don't know if this is a joke thread or not but as both my teams won today I am having a wee swally and it reminded me of my uncle Pat who would leave for Saudi in January to work and we wouldn't see him for years at a time. My Auntie Jean ( his wife) always lived in the same council house and was always skint. My dark haired uncle Pat always came home chalk white and pratted. I would sayGod isn't the only one who worked in mysterious ways:-)

Well it's more of a confirmation really, his non existence has pretty much been established beforehand.

It's just irritating when you hear survivors of disasters, natural or otherwise, thanking their pretend friend.. because, apart from being inane and fatuous, it implies that everyone who died wasn't worthy of saving.

Either god intervenes or he doesn't.

He doesn't.

Which is not proof of the non-existence of a mighty sentience which created us all. But the world is proof enough that if there is such a thing, it doesn't intervene.

Your thread seems to want believers to explain this event. Which is a nonsense as there are daily events of horror in the world which you could make the same thread out of. It's just religion-bashing.
