Not for the first time, last night's game saw the operation of one rule for outfield players and another for goalkeepers. I'm referring specifically to the early Pienaar miss. The Arsenal keeper came dashing out and in doing he took Pienaars legs away. Because Pienaar had already taken the shot the challenge was not penalised. Why? Anywhere else on the park it doesn't matter that the player on the ball had not been stopped from doing what he wanted to do with the ball - if you follow through and take a man out after the ball has been played it's a free kick. So why not when goalies do it?
