I can get to thetford, but I don't have a fear of heights.

I scared of falling from a great height though.

I don't understand any part of this - someone enlighten me please? ^^
Its a kind of assault course, but up in the trees, usually quite high! You fasten yourself onto the safety ropes, then launch yourself into cargo nets, cross spinning logs at 50 feet, massive zip wires. That sort of thing. It is a blast! Google it.

Would you be scared of doing Go Ape normally?

Not really, I just wouldn't put myself in that position. I remember when I was little going to the top of Warwick castle, I had to lie down in the middle of the tower as I was scared.

More recently, I took the little girl (3 year old then) up to the top of a ruined scottish castle, she went right to the barrier at the edge and looked down. I nearly had a heart attack, went weak knee'd shakey, the works, kept thinking the metal barrier bolted to the parapet was going to give way....

We have a hypnotherapist who has helped to cure more than 2000 people of their spider phobia at London Zoo. The Go Ape course starts just a couple of feet off the ground and gets progressively more challenging. You could stop at any time. This is a pilot before we hopefully start rolling it out and raising money for charities from it next year.

I don't think I'm really scared, I mean I'll go up a tall ladder to the apex of my roof, I'll just feel a bit immobile when I'm up there. But I've been on ski lifts etc, I've absailed etc. I think I'm ok. I have a healthy respect for Gravity and how fast it can accelerate me to the ground.

Great offer though, and I do cover thetford so I might work it Wednesday and drive by to see whats what. But honestly, I'm not .....

actually thinking about it, I probably am a little scared but it's not holding me back in life so I'll be ok.

effing petrified of spiders though....

Do you know anyone else who would be interested? I recommend the friendly spider programme at London Zoo.
