Cracking weekend as always. My 5th one and still wonderful stuff. Arcade fire and kasabian were incredible. also loved elbow, manics, Gabrielle aplin, lily Allen (surprisingly), jake bugg, the subways and various others. The 1975 on Thursday and kaiser chiefs early set on Friday took care of some clashes too! Dolly seemed good too but way too busy.
Wake up by arcade fire is the best live thing I've ever seen.
Thunderstorm on Friday was mental, was up at the park watching jimi Goodwin and ended up sheltered in the treehouse cafe watching the hill turn to mud, never seen anything like it.
Pretty much sums up what I was saying too - normally a couple of flares but there was like 30 of them lighting up the sky.
The flag at the front was our neighbours - couldn't believe it when an everton flag appeared next to our tent literally 5 mins after we'd finished setting up. Wish id chatted to them more but never really crossed over apart from the mornings when everyone was a mess. Was hoping it'd be one of you lot!! Was in Michael's mead to the right of the pyramid stage if it was anyone on here!
Yeah a lot of scouse accents!
Lana was rubbish I thought. Watched a few songs and went to see nina nesbitt, who was amazing and it was an indoor venue so we missed the Saturday downpour completely!
What an amazing weekend....I'm sat watching the highlights and recovering now. Dreading work tomorrow, always hate going back to the real world after that

When Kasabian did 'Fire' last night I have never seen scenes like it, flares everywhere, everyone jumping and I could see a boss Everton flag waving higher than the others.

The place is full of scousers everywhere. That Shandgri-La is like a night out in town.
Yeah a lot of scouse accents!
The countless people i spoke to, thought she was shocking.
Glad i gave it a swivel.
