Alio

They call me Avocado Baby
......is miles away. However, is anyone going, thinking of going, or been before?

I've managed to get a ticket for the first time, pretty much as I needed to do something to give me a thing to look forward to. I'm going slightly stir crazy. Never really fancied it that much before, but can't wait now....plus I just wanted to make a new thread as I'm bored.

More tickets go on sale tomorrow anyway.

If Fleetwood Mac do headline it, I'll be a happy man

If they had a 5* Hotel on site.. I'd be interested.
Mud, bad toilets and drugged up whoppers.. I'm not keen..

I'm sure you will enjoy it though mate..

Been to quite a few Glastonbury's.

absolutely love it.
will be hoping to get to next years too, hopefully to dance with Dr Alio to some slick grooves.

Ha, I've only been to a festival in Belgium before, which was pretty big, but no Glastonbury obviously.... It had hot showers, ace beers, good food, couldn't complain. However, we found there was an awesome hotel about half a mile down the road with free buses there and back. Definitely doing that if I go again. Not sure how I'll cope at Glastonbury.....Wet wipes, lots of wet wipes

Sweet. We'll reopen the dance off thread with Mr Brownie

My boss is well into the festival scene.. Isle of Wight is like a pilgrimage.. I've been to many live gigs / shows.. The camping thing just isn't for me..

glasto has gone all swanky (or wanky Imo) over the last few years. You can hire 'glamping' areas, campervans, teepees n all that jazz on site now. Showers, private khazis and all manner of fanny stuff

the best advice i can give is avoid the toilets any time after Saturday evening.

play the rest by ear

Wow. May have to take an Aki flag. I was doing some twitter stalking the other day, just flicking through random users, I think it was some odd band..... Either way, they posted a photo of Aki on the bus. Amazing. Part of me still thought it wasn't a real story, just something GOT made up :)

Avoid toilets on Saturday then. Sounds a plan
