Everton are to play Glasgow Rangers in a pre season friendly as part of the Nikica Jelevic deal. A date and venue to be decided

I remember they came to Goodison for a pre-season friendly in the summer of 1997. I was working in town that day and the place was crawling with them. There were also a few incidents at the game - can't remember what they were exactly.
Their record in going anywhere in England is not good - Manchester for the UEFA Cup Final stands out.
 

Prefer it to be Ibrox.

Mainly because don't want Goodison Road trashed ah la Manchester City centre.

Plus personally not been to Ibrox before would like to visit and see if I get a friendly Glaswegian welcome or not
 
god, i had to drive to work through those bastards when the screen broke at the uefa final. The animals were literally rocking my car from side to side. It was like jacob's ladder, with buckfast.
