Southall

Player Valuation: £750k
I was thinking earlier today and wondered weather or not a club has ever financially rewarded supporters for investing time and money into a club?
Every season supporters buy tickets home or away, merchandise, travel etc but other then the joy of following a team and going through the motions of winning, loosing or drawing would it be that outrageous for a club to reward supporters for their loyalty?
Just imagine season ticket holders being returned a small amount generated by profit its team made finishing higher in the league or reward points for purchases made from the club shop.
I know football shouldn't be all about money, but the modern game unfortunately is and for all the millions being generated throughout the top leagues its the fans that seem to get the raw deal and seem to be more and more distanced from the club itself.

Didn't gordon strachan order southampton to pay back the money their away fans spent on a ticket once. They played so [Poor language removed] strachan demanded a refund would be paid

Does happen.

I'm still waiting for Everton to acknowledge this logic too for the walter smith years. Not only am I expecting a refund for my season tickets but also compensation for taking a few years off my life.

I will also fight to get a refund on the numerous bottles of just for men I bought during his reign

literally posted today ha. hope it's an april fools joke tbh.

agree with the principle, but not in this case, swansea were just phenomenal on the day and norwich lost to a team they weren't as good as. nothing to do with norwich being cack. they've been ounshing above their weight for a good 5/6 years now, pretty sure the fans should be content enough with that.

think similar things happen a lot of the time - sadly none of the mega rich clubs seem to do it, even if it would affect them a lot less.

I actually got a free shirt recently so I can't complain.

Ordered a shirt online and it still hadn't arrived after 23 days. I called them and asked them where my shirt was. They said they had no idea and couldn't even track it as it had no tracking number ???? No tracking number haha

Rather nice lady offered me either a full refund or to be sent another shirt in exchange. I opted for a refund as the new shirt will be out by the time this one arrives....

Money in my account and 8 days later, package arrives. my shirt.... nice one
