I was thinking earlier today and wondered weather or not a club has ever financially rewarded supporters for investing time and money into a club?
Every season supporters buy tickets home or away, merchandise, travel etc but other then the joy of following a team and going through the motions of winning, loosing or drawing would it be that outrageous for a club to reward supporters for their loyalty?
Just imagine season ticket holders being returned a small amount generated by profit its team made finishing higher in the league or reward points for purchases made from the club shop.
I know football shouldn't be all about money, but the modern game unfortunately is and for all the millions being generated throughout the top leagues its the fans that seem to get the raw deal and seem to be more and more distanced from the club itself.
