To be fair you've mentioned the word legal. Anyone can get their hands on alcohol if they want to, at any age. I was getting rat arsed at 12/13.

Giving a minor alcohol could carry a prison sentence or a large fine over there. But it was apparently okay but give a 9 year old an Uzi. I'm not talking about purchasing the Uzi, as that's not what happened.

I was just pointing out that if you wanted, you could get your hands on alcohol. You don't have to purchase the alcohol to drink it.

I know what you're saying though and i agree, its appalling.
