The latest online buzz surrounds Gillette's new 'woke' advert directed by a Swedish feminist ad agency (yes, really):

It has 3 million views after only a day or two, with the dislikes outnumbering the likes by almost 7-to-1.

What say yous? Will this backfire, making Wilkinson Sword very happy? Or will men realise they're all bad chauvinists who need to wake up?

The vote is public so we can name, shame and then burn the bad men alive.

The whole thing furthers the feminist narrative that virtually all men are either violent, sexual predators or bullies and that only a few (as seen in the ad) are decent. That we all have to look at ourselves (men) and admit our guilt. It really riles me, I am neither a bully, violent or predatory, neither is my son or father.

People need to stop being so generic, rather than saying "men" they need to say bully or " sex pest". Not all men are tits but the lazy feminist will have you believe otherwise.

The advert seems to give the impression that the majority of men behave in the way that Gillette have portrayed during the advert. It's yet another attempt to portray men in a negative light, but, it's got everybody talking about Gillette so I suppose it's done it's job.

In all seriousness though speak to women who work in bars or pubs for example and pretty much everyone of them as been harassed in work by customers , the vast majority dismissing it as part of the job, to varying degrees and some of it pretty eye opening . That’s just an example , I think as blokes it’s probably easy for us to dismiss it but I do think there is a more of a problem than we ever realised or really took time to think about .

As for the advert it’s certainly not something I’d have come up or associated with the brand but it’s being discussed everywhere so maybe it’s worked for them , I’ve no idea . Only one way to tell I suppose .

I already boycott Nivea products due to the RS connection. I'll have to grow a beard soon as there won't be any shaving products left to buy.

I’m exactly the same , wouldn’t touch it . Still wouldn’t dream of touching carlsberg even if it was the only think available, I carry a grudge like a champ .

No question but not by me. It is just to simple to brow beat us with the blanket statement of "MEN"

Incidentally, I have had my arse pinched, groped in clubs, made to have sex on the floor in my office, chased around a bedroom by a lady with a beehive hairdo etc etc. I don't say "women" did this, it was the individual ladies.

I worked in hospitality for years, yes girls I worked with were harassed by blokes. So were lads that I worked with (including myself), oddly enough with a bevvy in them, almost anyone thinks they are an irresistible sexual force.
