Gibson's injury

To be fair to Moyes he said as much in the post match interview. Said Hibbet was still injured and should have brought Coleman on

Didn't see any interviews but if he said that, it's mental. He chooses to put Hibbert on knowing he was still carrying the injury when he had an option? Is our squad so thin we have to have crocked players on the bench!

I'd quite like a settled midfield pairing to be honest. I suppose my first choice would be Fellaini and Gibson. I think we have all seen the good, the bad, and the ugly side of Fellaini playing up top and personally I feel he's a more consistent performer in central midfield - with a licence to get forward (which Gibson would provide).

Hopefully we can sign the Belgian lad and he can cover for either Felli or Gibson.

I think it's the exact opposite. Switches off too many times, which is ok when you're further up the pitch. Not ok when you're playing deeper.

Will be sorely missed. Hopefully the young Belgian is a like for like, otherwise, back to the drawing board for Moyes.

mate you will be begging for Gibson if we play like we did in the last 20 mins against villa and most of the WBA game.

MF is going to have to come back into the DM slot for the barcodes and play his socks off, with Kevin in his place further up the pitch.

i think fellaini is too valuable at attacking mid, as he can simulataneously play as a target man and is good enough on his feet to steal the ball from opposition centre backs. he also maintains possession incredibly well, which i think is more important as an attacking mid.

i think we should either stick johnny in dm or give this new guy a try. kevin seems more like a striker who likes to run the channels then a centre-attacking mid / second striker
