The brain makes a lot of assumptions to build what we see as reality. There's no way we could simultaneously process the sheer volume of information otherwise. This includes all the senses, hence they are easy to trick. This is what I believe what the majority of ghost sightings are down to.

Also, if human ghosts exist, what about other animals? Could there be ant ghosts?

Ant ghosts would probably be the strongest ghost when compared to their relative size.

There's this ghost who haunts my house. Very high-maintenance, progressive-minded young snowflake-type-of-ghost.

I must address them with gender-neutral pronouns, and all of our seances mustn't use trigger-words, my bedroom closet is their "safe haunting space" etc., etc. I yearn for the days back when the ghost at my old house was just a racist.

Does anyone on here believe in ghosts/spirits?

Earlier on I thought I heard my auntie calling my name, despite the fact that she's been dead for several weeks. The wife also heard it. We've also smelled cigarette smoke in the house over the last few days and yet no one in our house smokes. My auntie did smoke, though.

I've also had similar experiences in the past, one of which I mentioned on here. I suppose it could be the mind playing tricks.

Yes i do, had a conversation in my kitchen with my mum nothing odd about that...except she had been dead for 16 years, happened in broad daylight in 2010.

Some people have a stronger psychic sense without even working on it. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me with a few things but mainly when I would hear 'someone' walking around upstairs when no one else was in until a few visitors started asking me who else was home.
I'm proper into all that stuff but even I admit that saying it out loud sounds a bit weird and unbeliveable
