It's a disaster folks. Was up for it today, good workout yesterday, had warmed up at home today. Got on the outdoor pitch, quick stretch, warmed up, then kicked the ball and tweaked my thigh muscle.

******* fuming, and gutted.

Had to get off home, proper seen my arse.

I refuse to accept it mate. Yes I'm 35, but I'm not an 80 year old. 2nd game back and I **** my thigh in, holiday next week too.

Course of strong pain killers, some Deep Heat, and hot baths.
 
I dislocated my toe yesterday. One of the most painful things Ive ever done, I had to 'ease' it back in and went back into its socket.

I tried to run it off. Head says I'm 18, but my greyness and pathetic excuse for low recovery muscles say differently.

Also you'd be surprised but poor posture can also cause muscle injury. So get that office chair changed lad!

You can run for MORE than 5 minutes? Well in lad. I haven't been able to muster that type of stamina in years.
