Do you have any particular aspect of your life that you're very passionate about, but some people find a bit niche or are largely clueless about in the main?

A subject that you have quite a lot of in depth knowledge about, and that often means you find it difficult to strike up a conversation with others about?

Something that you could be described as being a geek about?

For me, it's history. I'm obsessed.

Viking history especially, but recently I've taken an interest in Steppe Nomads such as Mongols and the Huns.

I could talk for hours about their aspects of society, laws, life and culture.

So come on, get your geek on.

Making jams, jellies and fruit spirits. 'Tis the season soon. Also folklore and bygone customs, excluding Morris dancing. Things peasants got up to when there was a full moon. Simple times but happy times.

Pagan? Heathen?

Live that stuff in Viking culture.

Eostre, Modrahnicht, Samhain, etc.

All customs we still hold today but think are Christian...

Read an interesting book : Stations of the Sun, A History of the Ritual Year in Britain by Professor Ronald Hutton.

It challenges many of the preconceptions of British rituals. For example, most of them are only recorded in print as having taken place at the earliest in the eighteenth century. For example, the famous May Day celebrations at Padstow originally celebrated a saint's feast day and only over the last 100 to 150 years have they taken the form of an 'ancient' pagan dance. Fascinating book which debunks most of the pagan element out of British folk rituals.

Wrestling count as a geeks addiction ?
European football is borderline obsessive for me at times, I basically cant hold a conversation unless we are talking about 18 year old kids from Europe (don't start with the x rated jokes bungle) or men baby oiled in lycra speedo's !

Also play Game of War a lot but not as much as I used to. Cant wait for Power rangers, transformers and star wars films to come out.

Geeky ? NEA. Come at me.

Any good Albanian prospects ?

Any good Albanian prospects ?

Only really seen Albania in the Euro's the right back Hysej seemed a good player, other than him I didn't recognise any of the other players under say 25. Lorik Cana used to play in france but is getting on abit now. Granit Xhaka's brother and the goalkeeper are the only other players I have seen at club level.

If anyone wants to watch random leagues, get the bet 365 app and just deposit £10 a weekend, always have Serie A, Czech leagues, Belgian leagues and some of the Chinese games. Basically watch anything football related when im bored.

Was big into world of Warcraft in my teens.

Had a detrimental effect on my GCSE results, but I had a level 80 paladin so Ms Ethell can F off.

Anywhere I can find a quick walkthrough of who's who and what species run the place etc ? Isnt WoW the one coming out as a film ?

History too, from the classical era all the way up to Napoleon.

What was your favourite horde?

Orda's blue horde has always intrigued me. The political engineering that went on in order to control allegiances in the eastern empire were incredibly tense and built on a lot of respect more than anything...

However, the white horde is, of course, the most historically incredible in terms of lineage, individuals, etc.
