Numbers out today, 24k people in the UK die each year from diabetes. A great proportion of that number can avoid fatality.

I wonder how many people on this forum eat one piece of fruit a day, let alone the 'Sunny D' sodium snorting generation raised on Jeremy Kyle and Katie Price.

This was inaccurate. It's actually 24k in England only. I'm not knocking those with genuine illness and genetic reasons for developing diabetes, but I sure as hell am not impressed with the MRM gorging zero exercisers that smoke 40 a day and drink distilled mouthwash.
Red meat just once a week.
Get your pulses.
Avoid dairy.
Go wholegrain.

Anyone would think it is difficult to eat clean, saying that, some people don't think - and thats the part that is the problem.
 
Traditional crimbo din-dins served in work today. With all the "trimmings". Nice bit of protein with cranberry on. Lovely stuff.
 
Try to watch Forks Over Knives, a documentary with compelling facts behind it that eating animal-based foods will make you sick.
