I spoke to Gerry earlier. He always has a good tale to tell of his days at Everton. He was a blue as a boy and still is to this day.

Got a vague recollection Gerry notched in a vintage late sixties 7-1 demolition v Leicester with a young Shilton in goal.

I was in the crowd that day - Upper Bullens Road at the Park End so I had the perfect view of that goal - it was a belter I can tell you. Think the Leicester goal was scored by Fern? Can't recall the other blue scorers but no doubt someone on here will look it up. A great day day to be an Everton fan
