If you have a few minutes, check this out. A ship sank off the coast of Nigeria. A diving team went down to recover bodies.....when out of the darkness, a hand came in to view, trying to hold the divers hand. In the link is a full video of the event.

A guy had been in the pitch black with no food or water, at the bottom of the ocean for 3 days.... Just insane.

I honestly don't think I'd have been able to cope if in this guys position, I can't think of a many more terrifying circumstances to be in.

Bloody look on the fella's face when he is found - I can't even begin to imagine the relief at seeing somebody. That is just incredible.

You cannot comprehend what he must have been thinking; it must surely have been along the lines of "I am going to starve or freeze to death / die of a lack of oxygen."

My good God, what a story that is for him to tell the grandchildren.
 
Seen it on last nights news,the mans face as he realized somebody had come to save him was a picture. Must have been bloody awful being stuck in there on the bottom of the sea for 3 days.

Unfortunately the 11 other crew members did not survive.

Mad story, hard to imagine he had any hope of being found and rescued, surely you'd think there's no chance of anyone coming for ya. Must have been nuts for him.
