can someone explain why we didn't get a pen when delafeou was hacked down, but stayed on his feet and his shot was saved like 1 second later, that was not long enough for an advantage over sequence. I'm guessing the incomeptant ref just got it wrong, but how do they expect to kick diving out of the game if penalties are always given when a player goes down easily, but when they stay on their feet - nothing is given (remember coleman vs spurs as well?)

more should be done to make their jobs easier, i have no qualms with how hard it must be, but they do bring many problems on themselves.

Part of the game. I did it when I played, but in a complimentary way, like saying "good call that ref", etc.

Once we were reffed by a deaf referee. I used my basic sign language training with him that day. Worked a treat!

Any tips on dealing with the blind ones we've been handed lately?

Thats just how its always been though hasn't it, even when a player is fouled if they stay on their feet and get a shot away its very very rare for it to be bought back.

Until there's an outcry over it it will stay the same. Doesn't make it right but its understandable. Same as giving fouls in the box to defenders rather than attackers the vast majority of the time, just one of those things in football that gets accepted.+
