Great news. Not spending any money on our LB position as we still have Baines (and other emergency options).

Otherwise we'd have 3 LB's next season. Now spend the money on different positions Bill!

I've only seen bits and bobs of Garbutt but from what I've seen I've liked. He's got that poise on the ball and has an eye for goal. Whether he can make it at this level remains to be seen but RM recalling him has to be a good sign.

Reckon he'll be on the bench (not tonight i mean in general) or just kept as back up with games in the under 21's?

I'd rather have him on the bench than Gueye

I reckon Luke will be on the bench tonight, after all he must be match fit. For me better to recall him than rush out to buy more LB cover, wise move, save the funds.

Yeah has been around ages and seems to have done a real good job at Colchester. As unfortunate as it is for Oviedo, this is Garbutt's chance to step up if and when needed.

Much rather we give him a chance than spend money on someone who will be third choice next year. Hopefully he will get some minutes at some point on the wing or something.
