I'm on holiday in Turkey and it was fun to see Liverpool get smacked by Galataseray. The third goal was a cracking volley from Elmander who they've just signed from Bolton.
Liverpool losing... Hopefully a sign of things to come!
 

Elmander cost Bolton £8.2 million and was their record signing. I'd be fuming if we let someone that expensive go on a free!

And yeah, don't get too excited. We were ace in pre-season last year and look what happened.
 

just had that **** aldridge on ****e tv ,putting the boot in to them ,he even had a go at king kenny,hes taken over as public enemy no1 from big nose thompson for me .horrible horrible man

They brought on some kids late in the 2nd half but started with a pretty strong team. Not full strength but I remember Carroll, J Cole, Poulsen among others were playing. I should remember more but my eyesight is apparently poor.
