Never mind my earlier (deleted post), I think this thread has some merit.



The unbeaten run was being thrown around a lot to divert some of the stick from Moyes, but really if you draw say 5 in a row, or you win 2 and lose 3, you gain more points from the latter. Which seems counter-intuitive, but that's the way it is; when you're drawing, you've got twice as much to gain as you have to lose. And that's why teams like Blackpool -- who really go for it, week in week out -- are doing much better than us.
