Full Screen Pop-Up Ads

Don't know if it's a new thing but starting today on web browser (Chrome) I'm getting a new type of ad for things like Arden University which is a pop-up that takes up the whole screen and requires me to click off the add. Crashed my web browser twice now somehow.

Seems to happen when I go AFK for a while then come back. When I do, my URL changes to: https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/#google_vignette
