Fulham transfers

I am of limited knowledge and that bunch of soon to be Championship fodder had me thinking. We have transfered a few of ours out to them, sometimes at great money. Can some of the older and wiser heads expand on the few players I am aware of that have made the move.
McBride
Davies
Radzinski
Pembridge
Johnson
Besides them having not won at Goodison for something like 55 years, a couple of the above players moving for actual cash money ought to have us as their most disliked.

It was partly glancing over the mosthated player thread that brought 'the next Beckham' to my mind, talk about a none-performer. For some reason I recall Steven Hughes (from Arsenal) at around a similar time. Might have been the London connection, or just that they were both raspberry sauce covered turd.

To be fair, Radzinski never hid the fact we was a money grabbing POS. Also, we didn't sell them McBride, he just went there from USA after he'd been with us. The Simon Davies transfer flummoxed me as Moyes had apparently been after him for years, and then we finally got him, and I don't think he ever had back-to-back decent games for us.

The money we got for AJ (£10.5m?) was daylight robbery, as much as I liked him as a player - he was one of those who got the bug, as shown by his turning up with his lad in Everton tops at one of our Wembley appearances.

At one point my dad referred to them as "the team that want to be Everton" cuz they kept buying players from us ffs.

I'm still not sure if we ever got 3pts in a match when Davies started. He was turrible for us. Did pretty good at Fulham though, maybe POY over there once. He said Moyes never gave him a chance even though he had plenty.

AJ the monies was just way too good and he was old. Amazing what we got for him. Probably Moyes's best sale. He went to our FA cup final as a fan didn't he?

McBride: Brian said in an interview that Moyes told him he wanted to get the squad younger and that the move wasn't permanent if he signed. Probably was a mistake given that 30yrs at MLS is nothing like 30yrs of age in the prem. He said he enjoyed his time there.

Kroldup, McBride and Davies (I guess Rooney too) maybe the only 4 players who got better after leaving us?

You have to hand it to the club, they've been exceptional at getting huge transfer fees for our players. The only one that really stands out as a bargain is probably Rooney, and we were in a dire way back then so it's perhaps understandable.

Any club that has a 'neutral' stand & brings their away support in a couple of minibuses doesn't deserve to be in the PL, despite their generosity towards us in the market, I hope they bomb without a trace.

Didn't Fulham also have Collins John for a while? That really confused me when I saw that as I thought it was a typo and John Collins had recently retired!
