He thoroughly deserved the applause. He's done a fantastic job seeing as you were minutes from relegation last season. Like Moyes, he's an honest and dignified man, too. Well done to him and his team.

Also thanks to all the incredibly friendly Fulham supporters I chatted to or just mixed with in the boozer after the game. Never a hint of trouble, just real footie fans have a good time and celebrating the end to a great campaign.
