With the news that Cardiff City are to change the colour of their kits from blue to red to please their investors I was wondering just how much it would take for Everton to change their colours and more to the point as an Everton fan would you be able to accept the change?
In the case of Cardiff the reported fee is a sum of around a hundred million pounds to be spent on the squad, ground, and academy, but they will still bare the nickname of "The Bluebirds"

As for me? well it would depend on what colour it would be changed to. I could handle a change to most colours but no way I could abide a change to red. I don't own a single item of clothing with red as the main colour and never will!

Horrible thought, Kenwrong or red shirts. Almost as bad as choosing to give or receive that is!

we are everton ffs NOT cardiff. Blue is the colour. Royal blue. Anything else is wrong.

how about a nice purple for 100 million or a nice pastel shade we could go down to b and q and pick something nice

Never ever ever ever could we do red. Cardiff fans obviously don't matter, however they don't have a massive rivalry with a team in red.

What happens when new investors come in say in 5/10 years time and don't like the red jersey's and want to change the colours again, because red is not "lucky" for them? Turning the club into a joke!.....everton are blue, end of!....hate to sell the jersey or change the crest, too much investment comming in from abroad, wouldn't happen as much in Italy or Spain, these countries tend to keep the ownership in-house,too much money is ripping the soul out of the game, billionaires buying clubs for their own fantasies,it was going to happen sometime,(new colours and crest),what's next?

Dont own anything red in my house never mind clothes wouldnt buy that shirt also were nicknamed the blues .

It wouldn't happen at Everton because were not small time and we wouldnt let it happen
