Froch v Kessler

Froch will win this time. Will swarm him in the early rounds and will wear him down due to his superior fitness.

Knock out in rounds 8-10.

Been looking forward to this fight for a long time. 5 years ago Kessler was at his best I reckon and froch would have got destroyed but I don't think Kessler is the fighter he once was and this could be froch's chance.....It was very close last time.... Kessler is still the only boxer who came close to calzaghe ( personally I thought he shoulda won ) and that's no mean achievement in my book but the days are past him now.

Even if you think the judges' decision in the Calzaghe/Hopkins fight was correct (it wasn't) then you have to accept he (Hopkins) came close.

Kessler looks like he may be on the slide now, you'd expect froch to win this, wearing him down in the later rounds, I will say that Froch looked a little nervous at the weigh in while Kessler was ice cool, though Froch has a little bit of a reputation for that and still performs. Should be decent tonight, but neither man has a chance against Ward

It's hard to tell if his best days are behind him, he had a long lay off with the eye injury after the first fight but he has still got the job done whoever he has been pitted against since then.

Lots of hype saying Froch is in the form of his life, cant see how when since losing to Ward he has been up against a fellow who had never fought outside his own country and a poor fighter in Mack.

Hope its a cracker and Kessler wins on points.

Definitely a closer fight than the Kessler one, which I thought JC won very clearly, you could also argue the Robin Ried fight was closer, for the record I thought Calzaghe beat Hopkins by 2 rounds, with Hopkins pretty much trying to cheat his way over the line to deal with Joes workrate

Neither of them would beat Ward, i'd have to agree, I was watching Kessler's fight with him the other day though and the headbutt that resulted in it being stopped was as blatant as could possibly be IMO.

That seems to have been overlooked in his career doesn't it? Guess you just have to live with the refs decision at the time, the ease with which Ward dealt with Froch, I just cant see a way for Froch to beat him, his skill set is on another level

Certainly seems to get away with more than most, much rather see these two tonight than either of them against Ward.

If ever someone was too good for their own good it's Andre Ward.
