Must admit, Friday night football appeals to me.
The idea of something like Newcastle stopover for a few beers and night out would be a right laugh.
I remember a game back in about 2002, Chelsea had to play on a Friday against United cause of some dodgy carnival, and they were raving about it being a success then, so i don't see why not!

It would be a nice diversion on a Friday night but there are bound to be scheduling problems.
Any team that is in Europe will be reluctant to play on Friday as it would mess up theirs.
I could see Friday games mostly involving clubs near the bottom of the league tbh.
