The Premier Legaue are selling a Friday night slot in the next set of tv rights, starting 16/17. Also an increased number of games per season, but no 3pm Saturday games will be screened on TV.

Rubbish. The early Saturday one is bad enough. Lose that and you've got a whole weekend in the doldrums, can barely bring yourself to watch MOTD let alone MOTD2.

Imagine waking up on Sat morning and the first thought is the Friday night tonking your team took?

I don't care what day Everton win on, getting to the pub (or whatever) on a Friday night with a decent match on with some good build up, what I would have a problem with is Everton losing on a Friday night, but no bigger problem than what I would when they lose on a 4pm KO on a Sunday when we (as fans) know if we win we climb 4 places, only to watch us put in the most nothing performance of the Millennium, Like at Spurs the other week.

In many ways I would much prefer looking at what teams were aiming to catch us as appose what teams we were hoping to catch
