"Julian Green could be on his way out of Hamburg after refusing to play for the club's reserves.

The 19-year-old U.S. international is on a season-long loan from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, whose CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge described the decision to demote him to the reserves as "regrettable."

Green has been unable to force his way into the Hamburg first team, making just one start under former boss Mirko Slomka and four substitute appearances under his successor, Joe Zinnbauer.

Earlier this week, Hamburg sporting director Peter Knabel announced that Green had been demoted to the club's fourth-tier reserve team, leading the 19-year-old, who featured for U.S. at the World Cup in Brazil, to claim on Facebook: "Nobody from HSV has spoken to me at all."

He's still young and demoting him to a 4th reserve team side is just a way of the squad saying that they don't want him. Hamburg is in a relegation fight and he's a 19 year old who will not contribute this season so developing Bayern's players probably isn't really a priority right now. If Bayern still wants to keep him they'd probably be better off loaning to the MLS, the Bundesliga 2 or a smaller Euro league.

Hamburg are also a bunch of bad bells.

Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaankt Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Juan Agudelo sighting....

Add him to the list.

He still does things in MLS yeah? Guessing he'll get a runout this summer for the Gold Cup.

The curious case of Freddy Adu. He's playing for a 3rd tier Serbian side now? At this point, why doesn't he just go play in the NASL or something?
