Yeah fair comment. They're so mind numbingly ignorant and stubborn as well.

The frightening thing is that they aren't uneducated - lots of them are attorneys. They bait people into reacting to them, then sue. A lot of people think they don't even believe what they say, but that it's a massive litigious money making scheme.

I think I'd find it pretty hard to ignore them if it was a member of my family's funeral they picketed. I'd want to murder them. Intruding on people's grief like that is difficult to find words for. It's utterly subhuman.

The irony is that through his hatred and efforts to portray a group of people as "evil" and "sinful", he helped raise awareness for the injustices facing the LGBT community and brought them to light, in a way uniting everyone to stand up for the LGBT community. So I guess we can thank him for that...
