Freaky Crap found in your house

I had to change out the exhaust fan in our bathroom as it was making lots of noise and not working right.... Start pulling it out. A freaking bird went through the roof vent down the duct and landed in the fan. Crazy crap. I will post a pic later.


I am sure some of you have found weirder crap in your house at some point.

We cleared out a newer fireplace to get to an older one. In the older one. There was old firewood, and a post card from a WW2 family. The postcard had a message from them, and it was a picture of the family.

in 1980 our house was broken into. A ten year old me disturbed the burglars, who then fled through the back door with only my mums purse.
In 1999, the day of my brothers funeral, after moving house twice during the years between, I went out the back of the house to put a binbag out and opened the back gate and as i put the bag out I notice a purse on the floor. Picked purse up and got the shock of my life when I opened it to discover it had old photos of myself, brothers etc inside. Take purse into house and show it too parents. Turns out it was the purse stolen nearly 20 years earlier. The only thing missing was the £5 note that mum says she had in it. Everything else was exactly how it was when stolen. To find it on that day of all days really freaked me out for a while.

A couple of months ago; we came back to find the cat had been sick on our bed. Their was this white stuff all in it, and after closer inspection, I discovered is was the reamins of a tape worm. Damn thing was still alive too.

That is very very freaky.

The only thing i can add is that me nan and grandad bought a bungalow last year and since me nan needs a walking aid and me grandads knees aren't what they used to be so i offered to clear out the loft. I found a few old designer bags from the 1980's and then i found an album full of photos belonging to one of the past owners, most of the photos were portraits and very 1970s which made for some laughs!

Other then that i found a checkbook from 1972 with a check written out for a Ford Granada but that was in the garage.
