Yep, they're not perfect but were the best side this year. Edwards deserves a lot of credit, they're incredible defensively.

I agree entirely. I'd love to see this French team take on South Africa or New Zealand.
In terms of this tournament though, the right team won. They've been the most consistent NH team for two years now and only a couple of red cards denied them the title last year. I do wonder to what extent the Lions tour impacts upon the fortunes of Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland, but France can only play what's in front of them.
