Fox News and the Daily Mail will have a field day with this...

I'm an avid gamer. I play games that are horrifically violent and twisted from time to time.

I love my family. I don't murder people.

I despise this argument that games make people into killers.

An emotional, behavioural or social preclusion makes people more susceptible to these urges. This media is merely a trigger...it would only be some other trigger. An event, a death, alcohol, drugs...etc.

I get that Fox news and the Daily Mail have a hypocritical attitude to video games sometimes and often they seem to forget that violence existed before video games. But what's the point in this? Is it just designed to shock?

I'm inclined to agree.

I've already made my argument about video games, but this has been created purely to make sales out of controversy.

It's a ridiculously bad premise to sell a game. I'm more offended by its idiocy and shallowness than the gratuitous violence...

Just a newer Manhunt game really. Papers will have a great time like you say, but people who actually play games who have their head screwed on will know what it's like.

Looks rubbish anyway.
