Can't make any sense of this story, all lads (including the poor lad that died) are all from London but it doesn't say if they came up together, known each other etc, be interesting to see what this was all about.

RIP, terrible, terrible news

Does look odd. Apparently he was killed in the city centre a few hours before the match, the 4 suspects were arrested at the game, and Mersyside police say they dont think the victim knew his attackers.

Important to note though, this has nothing to do with LFC, nor Football.

Its very strange that all the lads where from London, might just be one of them strange things; 2.45am the Police were called, must have been a night time brawl by the sounds of it

And they, (plod), kmew they would be at the game, where they would be sitting.

Wouldn't have been hard. They may have ID'd them via witness, or CCTV camera returning to a hotel, they would have got the name, it wouldn't have been a secret that they were down for the match, ran the name by the club who would have it on file when they bought the ticket via card.

Not only that, they're cockneys in Liverpool. Limits the avenues of enquiry quite a bit.

An easy trace compared to some things the police do.

On the radio it said they was looking for a man who they believed video'd it on his mobile.

Where was the victims mates? i know unprovoked attacks happen but usualy its some sort of dispute that starts it off. Why would one lad on his own react to four. if it was me i would just get on my toes and treat it as a lucky escape.

It doesn't add up unless they new each other.
