Ostensibly it's designed as an area with less moderation, as we believe that people who are committed to the site deserve somewhere with a bit of latitude in that sense.

As well as being another place for members to chat, it's likely to eventually be the home for more combustible topics, such as politics, religion, the various shooting related topics and so on, in the sense that a) hopefully supporters behave well as they get GOT, and b) it offers a kind of enter at own risk area of more relaxed moderation that allows the main forum to be primarily about Everton.
