Ah don't worry Dylan, it's what everyone does where environmental things are concerned. They say they're tree hugging but really they drive big cars 
Just for the uninitiated, a Toyota Prius is not the way to save the enviroment. A regular driver will do well to get better than 45mpg (and the upgrade to Lithium Ion batteries to get 100mpg is cost-prohibitive).
There are plenty of supermini diesels out now which get better fuel economy, and the new VW that gets 75mpg, combined. Not too bad if you ask me.
