Something i have seen elsewhere, that i usually enjoy - 'Quote of the day'

Obviously special days get appropriate quotes...

thats an idea...

calendar days... "on this day in 1985 everton beat XXXX 3 - 0 to clinch the title"

anyway, back to quotes, obviously special days for special people that said some righteous things, but perhaps not all confined to just football.
