All I'm saying is, we've had this violence/gun debate before and it's not panned out well.

I'm just saying there's aggro in every nation, and perhaps I'm suggesting the use of more caution when posting on the subject.

That's it really, I'm not trying to enter into a debate about guns in America...that's about as futile as an Israel/Palestine discussion

We obviously had Dunblane back in 1996, with the subsequent ban on handguns in Britain. I don't know the answer, but has that made a noticeable difference here do you think?

Hasnt made a "difference", cos we have never had a gun culture over here. Crims and bad people illegally own and use guns, sensible people, in the main, have a licence, and join clubs or organised shoots.

They arnt just like, everywhere.
