A couple of months to go still before the first race, but the Testing and Launch schedule is starting to come together, with Sauber set to miss the first Test: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/35345118

Also F1 bosses reach an agreement for reduced engine costs, although that won't kick off until 2018, and Pat Symmons reckons Mercedes have "chinks in their armour".

Can Lewis do it all again and get his third Championship in a row? Was Niko's late season dominance all a mirage? Can Vettel, or Red Bull/Williams, mount a serious challenge?

What's the Tv deal? My arl fella loves the F1 but said he'll barely get to see any this year
In the UK, Sky still have the rights to show all the races live. The difference this year is that Channel 4 have taken over from the BBC for terrestrial rights.

Channel 4 will show 10 live races this season and they will be advert free. They will also have practice and qualifying for these races. The races Channel 4 will have are:

Bahrain (April 3); Spain (May 15); Azerbaijan (June 19); Great Britain (July 10); Hungary (July 24); Belgium (August 28); Italy (September 4); Malaysia (October 2); Mexico (October 30); and Abu Dhabi (November 27

Phil, you might want to put the race schedule in the opening post. There's one here with UK TV listings if you want to add it.

Ah nice, should have thought of that. Too late now, unless one of the mods fancies doing it @roydo @Woolly Blue @Dylan (I can't actually remember who is a mod anymore :o )

Gutted that it's gone to Channel 4. I liked being able to watch the re runs on iPlayer advert free and in HD. Has 4OD got HD? Don't think it does.

Not sure we can, I would have to check. If anything like the Premier League, they have restrictions on sites publishing the fixture list or league table.

I fancy Ferrari to have a good season. If Vettel gets the car, he will be a threat to Mercedes.

Reckon he'll split them this year. He has undisputed No.1 status, so even tho/if the car is inferior, I think it will be close enough that the Mercs equal status will see each driver drop enough points that he can get in between them.

Reckon it's going to be another one of last year. Ferrari will get a few victories here and there but Mercedes is still going to have a big advantage. 2017 might be different. But this year, probably not.
