Fair enough, but I thought he set the tone of the club -one of honest endeavour and sportsmanship. And his reaction the the Reece Jones murder still brings a lump to my throat.

Went to a sportsmans dinner a couple of years ago, David Johnson was a guest speaker. To be fair, the vast majority of his stories involved his times at Everton. The other lot must be a boring team to play for.
