What a bureaucratic mess these organisations are. Manager, assistant coaches, sporting manager, general manager, supervisory board....how do they function at all?

Ajax is a mess of an organisation. You have the board of directors. The executive board and the supervisory board. There's no clear cut owner of Ajax. It's basically run by corrupt fat cat shareholders.Johan Cruyff tried his best to change the way, Ajax is run for the better. But the poor guy may as well, have been urinating into the wind.It doesn't matter who the manager is there. With the corporate vultures running the show there, Ajax will always be a club, that will forever be happy to sell it's best assets, to the highest bidder.

I wonder if Koeman will take the job.

Possibly although they seem to be getting rid of the staff, that the last manager Peter Bosz had a falling out with.Bosz of course is back on the market, after getting fired by Dortmund. So it looks like the decks are being cleared for his return.Im sure @BenscoAJAX if he still visits here, might have further and more accurate information on this.

Bosz was never an option as long as V.d. Sar was still in place. V.d. Sar and Bergkamp both decided it was best that Bosz had to leave Ajax so the changes of him returning to ajax are zero to none.

I'm happy with Ten Hag though, He was my first pick above Keizer anyway. Keizer was a miscalculated gamble that was bound to fail. He may be a good guy but he lacks experience. Hell, he was even Demoted with cambuur just before he came to Ajax so i think it was more a decision based on network (he's the nephew of Piet Keizer and friend of Bergkamp) than on his resumé.

Ten Hag was the next best option besides Bosz of course. Ten Hag shares similair experiences than Bosz before he came to Ajax. Ten Hag got Go Ahead Eagles into the eredivisie, trained Utrecht for 2,5 years and at the sime worked as football director there as well, trained Bayern Munich II and became champions of the regionalliga with 93 goals, couple of years as assistent and was head of the youth academy of Heracles/twente for six years. He is described by a lot of players and trainers who worked with him as a coach who is busy with the developement of players, which is crucial at Ajax. He is also well known to adapt his style of play to the qualities of his team. Currently there training in Portugal and it seems he will be going for the 3-4-3 formation that Keizer adapted as well. Ten hag has a downside though, he is not known for attacking football but he knows how to play he because he trained and worked with Pep Gaurdiola. Also his interviews are a bit harsh to see compared to Bosz who had great interviews.

Ten Hag will be joined by Alfred Schreuder who will be his assistant. Alfred worked at Twente as an assistent as well as interm head trainer but the last years he worked at 1899 hoffenheim next to Nagelsmann. He has worked with Ziyech before which went very well. We have high expecations of both Ten Hag en Schreuder. He also got a new leftback named Tagliafico to complete the selection. Next year he will be getting Schuurs (18 year old defender from Sittard), Bandé (19 year old attacker from KV mechelen) and there are rumours that Magellan (24 year old defender from Boca Juniors) will be joing the squad as well.

that's the current siteaution at ajax right now. Bergkamp, Keizer and Spijkerman are out thank god. Overmars is doing a really good job in bringing in players and we hopefully we can close the book on the horrible chapter we had this season. Hopefully Ten Hag and Schreuder will bring in the championship number 34 in honour of Appie Nouri who played with number 34 as well.
