I had just started to feel normal again after that display yesterday and ive logged on, read a few posts and feel like [Poor language removed] again.

I know we are all hurting but its time to draw a line under it and move on to chelsea on wednesday and the rest of the season. Theres nothing we can do now about them ****s doing the double over us and it only gives them more satisfaction that we continue to disect the performance and point fingers all over the show.

When you get stick tomorrow in work just agree with them and say, as i have been doing that it was 2 bad sides on show and neither team look like doing anything this season, that stops them in their tracks as you are agreeing with them and giving them stick at the same time.

Im certain we will see an improved performance on wednesday and i actually think we will take at least a point. Chelsea had a tough game today where they chased the ball for long periods on a rain soaked pitch. We have had an extra days rest and chelsea picked up a few knocks today(terry, drogba). Keep the faith people and put yesterday behind us. COYBB

sterling stuff that dublin' good post

I've been thinking aswell. Im only 16 and so usually i rage and get really angry when we lose games like these, but after yesterday i've just sort of come to terms with the fact that things happen for a reason and we just have to accept them. We will win some, we will lose some and it's just part of the game. It makes it that little bit sweeter when we do beat our Merseyside rivals!

Our time will come, but for now let's focus on Chelsea. We owe them one (y)

Me too. Liverpool is on form (Why do we always get them at the wrong time????) and for as bad as we played even if they had 11 players I don't they would have scored in open play on us.

We'll do better against Chelsea. We keep on drawing them and are due for 3 points against them. They'll be tired, Fellani will be pissed, and we'll be ready.

I think I'm still annoyed because of the manner of the defeat. We played quite well first half, but second half looked even less likely to score with the one man advantage. I know that by then we were almost playing with them always having everyone behind the ball, but a few more incisive passes would have been good. I had some optimism until their sending off!

And the sending off really annoyed me (as does Gerrard most of the time!) since it'll hurt us suspension wise. I know Pienaar could have gone for his first booking but there was no need for that gamesmanship (or lack thereof).

Anyway, rant over, and just to say Hi - I'm a twitter refugee and GrandOldTeam convinced me to join this place.

I just hope we can pick ourselves up for some tough upcoming games. Would so love to do well in Europe particularly. I do like Moyes' bigger picture stuff on the club site though. Makes some good points.

Seeing as you bring that up, can you tell me what he means by this:

"We kept the ball and did the right things, and when it went to 11 v 10 we showed that there isn't a big gap between Liverpool and Everton."

I think that Moyes comment was a dig at Liverpool! Has to be given our level of performance as you say; we were rubbish and so were they

Thankfully the Reds at work were not so bad today. Think they realise how bad they are.

Now i'm ready to forget it and move on to Wednesday! COYB!
