mods move this if not in right place...

Hoping somebody can help. I'm looking at buying the £20 Foreverton membership, which apparently gives me chance to buy tickets 3-5 days before they go on general sale.

Just wondered if anybody is a member of this and if they normally have a good chance of purchasing a ticket before home games sell out?

I've been using StubHub up to now

I used it last season. If you are online early enough you can get a ticket - you only get the right to buy one though and it will be a restricted view.

Its hard to say, we have sold more ST than ever before the last few years, the demand next season is only increasing, if everybody has the same idea as you, well you know how that goes.

Sorry im not being helpful, just something to consider, no, ive never used it, but I know people that have and they havent had issues in the past, but this is all a bit new.

Been a member with my 2 sons for 4 years, got to get the tickets as soon as they become available or you will be left with restricted views. Only failed once to get them and that was because there were not 3 available together for myself and my 2 young sons.

You will probably get better tickets on Stubhub my son.

I think Foreverton has gone now; replaced by the new Official Membership - think it's £25 now - but as a STH we get it automatically to give access to U23s and online content. Launched this week if you want to apply.

But just for tickets only agree, StubHub may offer better seats as will be owned by a STH and probably a better view.

Hope this helps.

Was fine for me when I've had one, even for the big games I never ended up with obstructed views or anything but I know we sell more season tickets these days though so obviously that means less seats available for members.

All depends on the game too. Last season before bigger games they put in new stipulations about havin to have had bough for other games before you were allowed. Wasn't mentioned before the season started so wasn't helpful. I had bought on stub hub so hasn't the credits on my membership.
I'd stick with stub hub or the the forum here is ideal too

Thanks all for the insight, been very helpful.

Box office told me today they are in 'negotiations' with stubhub for next season.

I agree normally good seats via there as from a STH. Just concerned that if we don't renew stubhub deal, I'm going to be snookered and not get a ticket unless I sign up to this new membership thing.

Are the early bird membership tickets normally restricted or tend to be good seats?

No-one can give you a useful answer to this.

A couple of seasons ago Foreverton was useful, you could usually get fairly good seats as long as you got in quickly after they went on sale. But now the cap has been lifted on the number of season tickets, the majority of the stadium is sold out to season ticket holders, so I assume thats why they have got rid of Foreverton. No-one can tell you how the replacement membership scheme works out because it is new :)

I've had one for a good few years. The 'restricted views' seats vary. I tend to sit in the Upper Gwladys so the seats are on the whole fine.

going by the burnley game last season you will be get pricks jacking prices up to ridiculous amounts on there.
i cant see many tickets being available on general sale next season when you take all the supporters clubs into consideration though

Just paid for my memberships this season for me and my little brother. Not sure if it's going to be as helpful in getting decent tickets as it has been in previous years, but good to support the club in a small way nonetheless.

Signed up today for me and my son. Just so you are all aware, the only home game I will be in the uk for is the Man utd one, so if you all would kindly refrain from trying to get tickets until I have secured mine, it would be appreciated ;)
