there is a sit in protest being arranged for after the blackpool game. i know protests are being spoken about alot on various forums with some for and some against. everybody is entitled to thier opinion but if anybody has anything negative to say on the subject then please choose not to reply, otherwise for those that are interested in participating in a sit in protest then please do.

personally im all for it and think it would be a better way of getting the point across to the board and the watching media, rather than marching through the streets which people dont seem ready to do.

alls we want at the end of the day is the truth and deserve to be treated with respect from the board, of which the major shareholder is a blue just like us so should want to keep the fans informed knowing that discontent is growing.

again people will disagree with it and some will agree so please no sarky replies, and respect everybodys right to air thier views.

cheers.

Another option would for somebody to put there head above the parapet and book a room in a pub one evening and call a public meeting to discuss setting up a campaign group, along the lines of KEIOC, to look for solutions to the Clubs problems.

Then based on the turnout we would know if there really is a growing ground swell of support against the current Board or it is all just Internet warriors pounding the keyboards.

We always seem on the point of protesting, but it never happens, you see Liverpool fans, Newcastle fans, and United fans protesting, but we never do :/

I hope this gets going, i was a kenwright fan but its just getting ridiculous.

Good on you fella.

Kenwright is taking the piss out of every single Everton fan with his behavior.

Time to act before it's too late.

Interesting comment from Moyes when Phil mcnulty asked him about lack of transfers-

' you're asking the wrong man' - see his twitter.

About time Moyes started pointing the finger and pushing back!!

the thing is with a sit in protest its easier to stay behind after the game rather than trying to get one going outside the ground without proper organisation. its entirely down to the individual to stay behind. the idea has been put on the evertonians for change group who are supportive of the idea whilst not organising it.

for those who want to do it or agree with it then you can help by spreading the word and getting back to this thread with any reaction and support for it.

id be willing to contact the local media to bring it to thier attention and hopefully for it to get mentioned in the paper before saturday.

What exactly, is the protest about? lack of money etc? or Kenwright being Chairman?

if people are up for it and support it then if possible post it on the forums that you are registered on please. the sit in protest if it happens is about years of mis information, lack of investment, failed stadium moves, players leaving nobody coming in, silenece from the board, and basically wanting to know just what is going on and wanting the answers. evertonians are fed up with it, so i think its going to be a statement from the fans to the board that they better start treating the fans with the respect we deserve whilst the media look on. the only way to get at this board is to shame them into coming out and doing it in the ground in front of tv cameras would be a start i hope. everybodys talking about doing something but it doesnt get done. the idea has now been put out there so its down to the individuals to take it upon themselves to participate and help spread the word. its the easiest type of protest to do if we cant do this we may aswell give up.

And what exactly is it going to do? When BK see's the protest will he just say "Oh ****, I better give Moyes that spare 100m I have in the summer" Or "Ok, ill accept that 10million offer from Tesco"

Sit there in the cold as long as you want, during the same time, BK will be having a few smooches in the bar, then going to fancy nose bag, then back to London where he is loved. Or he just wont turn up to the game.
I can see the groundmen walking out 20mons after the game and looking up to see 4 people still sitting there.

what do you suggest then mate? at the end of the day the board can ignore fans anger and fob us off all day but it changes when its exposed in the media it will be uncomfortable for them and they wont see it coming. dont you think we have to try and do something because if we dont we may aswell just accept we are finished as the club we knew and we may aswell get rid of our motto if we are not prepared to live upto it. it doesnt take much to keep fans informed about whats going on at the club but they choose to remain silent so what have they got to hide.

can those who ARE going to participate in the sit in can you say so on here for definate.

reason being that the planned protest before the chelsea game failed as it was just a word of mouth thing. if you are going the game and support this then stay behind after the game.
