For those who bought the first volume, I'm pleased to announce volume 2 should be ready in a few weeks. 50 interviews with former Everton players from different eras. AlLL of the proceeds from this book will go to the Everton Former Players Foundation.

Not read it cover to cover yet but it is going to be an excellent read. It’s brilliant to relive so many brilliant memories and get an insight into how the players saw those same moments! A great stocking filler!

I've just read 1/3 off the book,Its a must for any Everton fan ,Some brilliant storys especially the story martin Dobson gives about joe mercers team talk or the time Gerry Glover asked Harry Catterick for a £10 pay rise .

A further comment from someone who purchased the book last night.

Thrilled, honoured and delighted to have a copy of Steve Zocek’s new book, even more so because he allowed me the privilege of helping proofread a few chapters. Steve’s passion and dedication is awe inspiring, he’s a real Everton hero with the work he does gathering memories from our former players.

Been dipping in and out this afternoon, and believe me, its terrific. The interviews seem longer and hence more detailed than Vol 1, but maybe thats my memory.

Oh, I wont spoil the surprise of who Steve has spoken to, but for me, I was gobsmacked at some.

Well worth a read.
