Do you think that it is just an issue in the UK?I realised when my mum used them years ago, that Saga were not good value with anything. They just advertise to old folks and so old folks feel "safe" with them. But like all British institutions they seem to adopt the "let's see what we can get away with" model, rather than the "let's treat our customers as valuable assets and earn their trust" model.
Wouldn't touch them. But then nearly all British companies will crap on you if they can. Its how CEOs acquire personal wealth and public honours.
Again, is this just UK businesses?Tax dodging ... another great British institution not wanting to contribute to the society it benefits from.
I have no evidence from other countries. I'd take a guess that the US is worse.Do you think that it is just an issue in the UK?
Are you really naive enough to think that businesses in other countries treat their customers as valuable assets?
No.Again, is this just UK businesses?
I didn't say it's right. I was just asking whether or not you thought that it just happens in the UK.No.
None should get away with it ... but especially not British companies relying on British infrastructure and services in order to exist.
The fact that overseas companies might do it too, doesn't make it right that British companies do it, nor does it excuse them. Strange thinking that.
I heard the Beano comic is going abroad tooWe should send Joey into these companies as an undercover agent, and bring them down from the inside, like Donnie Brasco and the Mob.
His real name was Joesph Pistone.
We could call ours Joseph Pistoff
'El Beano' would be a cracking all day breakfast place in Benidorm.I heard the Beano comic is going abroad too![]()
Well I very much doubt the uk is alone, but they're certainly very good at treating customers dreadfully.I didn't say it's right. I was just asking whether or not you thought that it just happens in the UK.
LOL.Well I very much doubt the uk is alone, but they're certainly very good at treating customers dreadfully.
They probably go where the wages are cheap .....Wonder where places like Spain outsource / offshore their call centres and ‘help’ desks to?
Do they go to Latin America or India I wonder?
Likewise the French, do they go to North African countries?
