What was the name of that footballer who played for Everton or Liverpool from Walton who blew it and is now an alcoholic and is on the streets? Anyone know?

I suppose there's a few footballers who blew it really. All that talent and ended up with nothing!

Yeah, sad case. He bet all his savings that stubbs would be our next manager.
 

Royston Drenthe.

Heard that he came to Finch Farm on a training day late in his flashy sports car and two 'women'.

Went to his locker then drove off.

He never played for us again.
 
Lets have a good discussion about footballers who blew it, players who had everything but got mixed up in something else and lost passion for the game. I know George Best is another one.

No way. Maybe he wasn't as good as he could have been, but I wouldn't say 2 league titles and a European cup as well as the Writer's Player of the Year, a Ballon D'or and a Ballon D'or third place was blowing it.
